Head Sweating
Most people in the world sweat from multiple places all over their bodies, not just underarm sweating. Most experience hand sweating, facial sweating and sometimes head sweating. Many times they can experience foot sweating or on their backs and even around the genital area.
Excessive sweating in any of these areas can be potentially embarrassing for the sufferer, but it is much more difficult to disguise the fact of excessive sweating when one is experiencing facial or head sweating. Why does it seem that way for facial and head sweating?
Simply stated, facial and head sweating are right out there in the open for all the world to see. The other types of excessive or extreme sweating are more able to be hidden or disguised, but not so for head sweating. Not when rivulets of sweat are running down your face, dripping off the end of your nose, stinging in your eyes, and turning your hair into a wet mop of stale sweat smell. That's not so easy to hide. So it becomes a real problem for most people, because who wants to go through the day with a wet sweaty head?
And this is not only a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation, it can lead to scalp itching, irritation, and in some cases unhealthy hair. One of the best ways to deal with a head sweating problem is to bathe regularly, but even this with the use of shampoos etc. can become a cause of the sweating.
Unless you have very short hair, all your efforts to control your head sweating by having a head of damp and dripping hair can become a moot situation and will promote more sweat to form. So all the trouble you went to is for naught. So you use a hair dryer to get rid of the damp hair, and now you make your scalp too hot, and guess what, your scalp begins to sweat to help you cool off.
There are lots of things you can do to control head sweating, and before you try anything or even think of drastic measures, consult your doctor for advice. That includes herbal remedies and treatments too.
Head sweating in controllable, it just takes a little time and perseverance to find the right remedy that will work for you. Meanwhile, you might want to stay away from wearing hats or other types of headgear.
