Natural Deodorant
Because sweating is something people must endure as a human being, some suffer with it as a problem, whereas most people just treat it as a natural phenomenon and look for the best way to treat it or deal with it. For that reason, more and more people are looking for natural means of treating it, and are searching for natural antiperspirants and deodorants.
In general, regardless of what ingredients are in the commercially produced deodorants and antiperspirants, most people are not that concerned with more than just halting the sweating and odor and don't pay much attention to what those ingredients can do to us.
A few people, though, have found out there are ingredients that can be harmful to individuals and have started the search for natural deodorant products to replace the commercially available ones.
One of the stumbling blocks people run into in their search for a natural deodorant is that sweating is a natural occurrence and has a major function in the operation of the body... ie, keeping the body cool. So, because it is a natural occurrence and expected to happen, there is no natural antiperspirant per se.
There is however a natural deodorant, and these are readily found in the form of crystal deodorant rocks. These rocks, made of alum, kill the bacteria on the skin that cause sweat induced odor, but the alum does not stop the sweating. All that the natural deodorant does is keep you free from odor.
This is just one form of a natural deodorant... there are others available... but unfortunately, there is just no natural antiperspirant to be found.
Down the road, there can and will be natural substances that will inhibit sweat production, but be very careful in the usage of a natural antiperspirant. Because sweating is considered by Mother Nature to be a needed process, overuse of an antiperspirant, be it natural or otherwise, could be detrimental to your overall health if used on a long term basis.
Remember that a natural antiperspirant isn't the best thing to use or the safest thing to use over the long term. The most effective thing to use would be a natural deodorant, but since this is not effective against stopping the sweating, you may not be happy with it for long. If you must use a natural antiperspirant, just think about it before you start using it daily.
