Sweating Face

For those people who suffer from excess sweating, sweating anywhere on the body in excess is a problem but nowhere more of a problem than on your face. Even just a moderately sweating face can look grotesque in the wrong light, and it is no laughing matter for those who suffer from it and to make it worse, there is no readily available recourse for it.

Try to use an antiperspirant on your face and you will soon find that gravity interferes by simply having the sweat roll off the face in a very awkward manner. Besides, it is not safe to use antiperspirants on your face nor do they work very well and any of these methods are more of a hindrance than a help.

Heavy creams, like the ones used in the winter time, can have a cloying effect on the skin and produce a sweating face even in the depths of winter. It is better to stop using facial creams altogether to control your sweating, or if you must, use only very light creams.

Take into consideration also whether your sweating face problem is something that has been passed down through the family line----is it a genetic trait? If that is the case, talk with someone in your family with the problem to see what remedy they found to work, if any, to stop their sweating face problem.

Some people don't worry too much about a sweating face, and pretty much take it in stride. You've seen them out and about, they are the souls with the everpresent handkerchief who are always dusting their face with it.

And speaking of dusting, try using talcum powder as an alternative to antiperspirants. Use a very light dusting so you don't end up looking like a clown, and avoid your eyes, nose, and mouth. Your face will be dry a sweat free, at least for a little while.

If you are not sold on the talcum powder idea, then use makeup. But choose a light compact powder and not a creamy pressed version. The coverage may not last as long, but when you have a sweating face, it doesn't much matter, now does it.

You can still have a thriving social life and a sweating face does not need to be the end of the world. Just take heed of the things that help control or even prevent your facial sweating. Little things, like cutting back on hot foods that make you sweat like there was no tomorrow, can help immensely and only take a little effort on your part.
